Happy Patel

Hello! My name is Happy Patel, and I am a senior at Hunter College pursuing a bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology. I am passionate about supporting youth and young minds, especially teenagers, as they navigate emotional, academic, and personal challenges.

My previous experiences working with students, young children, and individuals seeking crisis support have strengthened my interest in mental health. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, empathy, active listening, and creating supportive spaces where people feel heard and understood. I am especially interested in learning more about the emotional and social challenges that affect adolescents and the different ways mental health professionals can support their growth and well-being.

I hope to continue expanding my knowledge of the mental health field while contributing to resources that make mental health information approachable and accessible. In my free time, I enjoy working on creative projects, spending time with friends and family, and finding new ways to stay involved in my community.
