Hayley Miller, LMHC

Associate Therapist (She/Her)

All About Me

My interest in therapy and the helping field in general was largely shaped by my own experiences with mental health, which began in childhood. I credit the life I've been able to build for myself to access to treatment and appropriate interventions. As a Jewish person, I understand the importance of being true to yourself and connected to a community, and I strive to help others work towards finding their identity and place in this world.

My journey into the helping profession started with working as a care coordinator in New York City, traveling across Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and the Bronx to provide services directly to individuals in their communities. I quickly realized that this role limited my ability to help my clients. I wanted to help in ways I felt would make a lasting difference in their lives. I became a mental health counselor because I want to empower my clients to build the lives they want and deserve to have by helping them develop the skills and support they need to do so.

As a therapist, my first goal is to create a space where you feel safe and understood. I utilize a person-centered, integrative approach in session and tailor treatment plans to support individual needs and strengths. I specialize in working with members of the LGBTQIA community, those who have experienced trauma, and those who are struggling with depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and general problems of life.
