All About Me
I am a graduate student at Hunter College, currently pursuing my master’s in Mental Health Counseling. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you can feel safe to show up exactly as you are. My approach is grounded in a person-centered philosophy—rooted in empathy, respect, and genuine understanding. I believe these qualities are the foundation for a trusting therapeutic relationship and the key to meaningful growth and healing. I also incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness-based techniques to help clients develop practical tools for navigating life’s challenges.
I strive to meet each client where they are, recognizing that healing looks different for everyone. Throughout work together, I emphasize tailoring my approach to your individual needs and goals, creating an environment where you feel seen, heard, and empowered. I also view therapy as a collaborative process—one where both client and counselor can grow through curiosity, honesty, and connection.
My passion for this work stems from my own life-changing journey with therapy. I know firsthand how powerful it can be to feel truly understood and supported, and I bring that same care and dedication to the clients I work with.
I have experience working with individuals facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and substance use. If you’re looking for a warm, nonjudgmental space to explore your story, build resilience, and take steps toward positive change, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
