Wainell Brown, BA Candidate

I was born in Trinidad but grew up in NYC. I am a senior at Hunter College and my major is Clinical
Psychology with a minor in Sociology and German. Clinical Psychology stood out to me because I was always interested in providing compassionate support and promoting mental well-being in the minority
community. Growing up, mental health was a taboo topic and still is one today in the community. I would love to represent for minorities through providing affordable and easier access to mental health
services to ensure that no one is ever alone in their struggles.
